CG(YAY). (because fear has no place)

HI FRIENDS!!! First of all, thank you so much for taking time to read about my life. I could never write in a blog my appreciation for everyone’s love and support. It has and continues to mean so much to me to have such amazing friends and family. I hope you enjoyed following my life this past year, and if you’re interested in what’s next for me- keep reading!!!!

This October, I will be moving to Gainesville, Georgia to attend a program called Center for Global Action (CGA). CGA is a 5-month discipleship program run by Adventures in Missions (the same organization that runs the World Race). I am extremely passionate about leading and helping others step into what the Lord has for them. CGA is a leadership program that will help me to discover and prepare for whatever and wherever I’m called to next.

On my gap year, the Lord taught me more than I could’ve imagined. I’ve lived out the dreams He’s entrusted me with, witnessed miraculous healing, lived in authentic community, made friends around the globe, and most importantly I grew in intimacy with Him. My heart behind this decision is to go where He leads me and build His kingdom. I have a huge heart for missions and feel called to some type of full-time ministry. Although I am not exactly sure what that’ll look like yet, this will help equip and train me to successfully lead others, and launch into the mission field full-time.

When I first decided to attend CGA I was full of fear.

Fear that people will think that the sole purpose of this is to put off college another year.

Fear that people will think I’m just asking for their money.

Fear of judgement.

FEAR OF MAN.

“All attempts to find a safer life, to live by the expectations of others, just kill the soul in the end.” That’s from the book I’m reading right now, and how true?! I found myself again fearing what people would think. Fear, fear, fear. Well let me tell you, FEAR has no place!!! The Bible is very clear about that. What do we have to fear anyway??!!?? HE IS ALIVE!!! AND I’M SUPER PUMPED!!!!!

I have to raise $5,950 to pay for housing and living costs, events, and to help pay the teachers who give their time to CGA. Fundraising is something I’ve carried a lot of shame about. Originally, I set $5,950 as my end goal. It’s almost comical, limiting God to merely reach a “goal”. The more I learn to let go and let God take control of my situations, the greater the outcome for the Kingdom. Isn’t that what this is all about? Building HIS Kingdom, uniting His followers to support one another. What a beautiful thing it is when we unite to build His Kingdom.

He is doing so much through Adventures in Missions and CGA. I strongly believe in all they do and support, and am excited to continue my time with them.

This isn’t a plea for money, which I viewed it as before. It’s merely an invitation. An invitation to fulfill the Great Commission across the planet!!!! I hope you’re as excited as I am, because I cannot wait to see the Lord work in this next season of my life. (CG(YAY))

I realize I’ll never be able to answer every potential question in this blog. So if you believe in what I’m doing, would like to know more about CGA, and would like to consider supporting me- pray! Pray for my time at CGA and see if this is where you should donate to further the Kingdom. If it is and you’d like to donate, please contact me. I’d love to hear your voice and share my heart with you more!

*I will also be selling t-shirts to fundraise- look for those soon!!!*
